About Me

I’m a registered psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, and I’ve spent more than a decade helping children and families build skills, confidence, and support along the way. I specialize in working with children, teenagers, and young adults by offering personalized therapy sessions. I truly believe in the idea that “it takes a village,” and I aim to be a supportive part of that village for the individuals and families I meet.

My focus is on getting to know each family’s unique story and creating a warm, safe space where you can talk openly about what’s going on. Whether that looks like one-on-one sessions with parents, working directly with children, or meeting together as a family, we’ll find the approach that feels right for you.

I value cultural awareness and take care to understand and respect the diverse backgrounds and experiences each family brings. My goal is always to work collaboratively and find strategies that fit your family’s needs in a meaningful, practical way.

Over the years, I’ve worked with children, teens, and their families in many different settings, from community agencies to schools and home-based support services. In these roles, I’ve helped people navigate a wide range of concerns, including significant mental health difficulties, emotional and behavioural struggles, trauma, and challenges within their relationships.

I can help with emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, developmental concerns, and navigating new or ongoing diagnoses. My approach is grounded in client-centered care and family systems, solution-focused, and neuroaffirming perspectives. I utilize a play-based approach that emphasizes developmentally appropriate strategies, ensuring a supportive and engaging environment tailored to the unique needs of each person.

Credentials and Ethics: I am licensed by the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and a Professional Member in good standing with the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA). I apply CAP’s Standards of Practice, Bylaws, and Practice Guidelines as well as follow the Canadian Code of Ethics for Psychologists.
