About Me

I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist who is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Drawing on my experience in mental health, addictions, disability management, and healthcare, I want to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients feel empowered to pursue meaningful change.

I believe healing occurs within the context of a strong therapeutic relationship. I work collaboratively with you to recognize the expert within yourself.

I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where we can work together to understand what’s keeping you stuck and identity practical ways forward. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, and trauma-informed therapy, I help clients develop coping skills, become experts in their own lives, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My theoretical orientation is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy, while also incorporating elements of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. U strive to adapt my approach to meet your individual needs, helping you develop practical skills while exploring deeper patterns that may be impacting your well-being.

I am a devoted husband and father of two boys. I value family, meaningful connection, personal growth, and giving back to my community. These values continue to shape my approach to supporting clients through life’s challenges and opportunities for growth.

Seeking support takes courage, and you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. As you therapist, I bring warmth, compassion, and a collaborative approach to therapy. If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and growth, I invite you to book a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

Credentials and Ethics: I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and am a Professional Member, in good standing, with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). My practice is guided by the CCPA’s Code of Ethics and the CCPA Standards of Practice. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology as well as being a registered nurse in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
