About Me

I believe that healing begins with understanding ourselves in the context of our story. Many of the ways we think feel, cope, and relate to others were shaped by our earliest relationships and experiences. The strategies that leave us feeling stuck in adulthood — whether that looks like anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-criticism, emotional overwhelm or challenges in relationships.

My approach to therapy is grounded in a developmental and attachment-based understanding of human growth. While we often focus on the challenges you’re facing today, I also believe that understanding the experiences and relationships that shaped you can provide valuable insight into patterns that continue to influence your life. Through a safe, collaborative, and authentic therapeutic relationship, you can develop new ways of relating to yourself and others, challenge long-held beliefs that no longer serve you, and build a life that feels more aligned with your values.

While I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Person-Centered Therapy, I don’t believe therapy is about fitting people into one model. Every person brings a unique history, strengths, and goals, and I tailor therapy to meet each person where they are.

Alongside my work as a therapist, I continue to practice as a Registered Nurse. Working in healthcare has given me the privilege of supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most vulnerable moments and has deepened my appreciation for the connection between physical and emotional well-being. This experience for the connection between physical and emotional well-being. This experience continues to inform my compassionate, holistic, and person-centered approach to therapy.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, pregnancy or the postpartum period, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, my hope is that therapy offers a place where you feel deeply understood while discovering new possibilities for growth and healing.

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two little ones, being outdoors, weight-lifting, and finding joy in life’s simple moments.
