About Me
I have lots of experience working with children and teens, and I love creating a safe, supportive space where they can express themselves freely and feel truly understood. For many kids (and adults too!), talking about big feelings can be overwhelming, but art opens the door in a way that feels natural and empowering.
Art therapy can help with anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, or simply navigating the ups and downs of life, to name a few. It’s not about being “good” at art, it’s about using creativity as a way to explore, heal, learn, and grow.
When I’m not in the studio with clients, you’ll probably find me running, painting, or curled up with a good book. I’m also a proud cat mom to Bean, who is just as curious and playful as I am! Wherever you are in your journey, I’d love to walk alongside you and create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported.
Credentials and Ethics: I am a Professional Art Psychotherapist and am a Professional Member, in good standing, with the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA). I am also a Counselling Therapist (CT) and have a membership with the Association of Counselling Therapy in Alberta (ACTA). My practice is guided by CATA’s Code of Ethics and the CATA Standards of Practice. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Art Psychotherapy from the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UBC Okanagan.
