We appreciate your interest in connecting with this therapist. At this time, they are not accepting new clients, but we encourage you to explore other available therapists within our practice.
About Me
Our path in life can become complicated. Maybe it feels like there are too many options, or maybe it feels like you’re going around in circles. My aim is to be your sidekick as we work together to unravel your path.
My approach is to provide a space where you can feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are; a space where all emotions can exist. My hope is to hold space for you to work through challenges, connect with self, and forge your path forward.
I integrate several different modalities into sessions, with a focus on Polyvagal Theory and Internal Family Systems. In sessions, you’re the main character. You control what direction we travel, and I’ll be there as your sidekick to support you along the way. I hope you leave my space feeling like you had a conversation with a human, not a textbook.
When not in the office, you can find me curled up on the couch with my cats, and a good book. If I’m not there, then I’m likely in a cold rink supporting the next generation of figure skaters. Expect when the newest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race drops…then you’ll definitely find me at home watching.
Credentials and Ethics: I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and I’m a Professional Member, in good standing, with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). My practice is guided and informed by the CCPA Code of Ethics and the CCPA Standards of Practice. I am also a Counselling Therapist (CT) and have a membership with the Association of Counselling Therapy in Alberta (ACTA). I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, an Advanced Diploma in Behavioural Interventions from Nova Scotia Community College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dalhousie/University of King’s College.
